Integration with PathFinder
I gave up Finder long ago in favor of PathFinder (it's NOT an Apple product, it's better).

Sadly, FP doesn't play with PathFinder.

So I wonder, Turly, is it possible at all? If it is, would you consider giving it a try?

I'm not ungrateful for all you've done for — how many years? Really. I've sent money to your beer fund and if you ever charged for FP, I'd license it.

Knowing you're not getting enough out of this financially to compensate for the work you do, I figure asking for more can't hurt. It's a small stick on the pile.

Thank you,

Re: Seven wishes to improve FP 2.2.1b+
As one of the people testing FP on 10.6.2, turley, I'm sorry to say I haven't found anything wrong yet. My bad in not saying anything - when it breaks I'm vocal enough.

If you have an updated beta or rc, send it along for a trial.

Re: FinderPop 2.2.4b8 BETA | Thrillseekers
see my comment in the support forum. There's a bug here -- somewhere.

I'll give it a try. Also - if there's any interest in viewing my gastric bypass images (before and after), I'll be happy to make them available.

I'm getting a 'file not found' error with ...

Please send me a copy: my email should be on my profile.

Re: FinderPop 2.2.4b6 BETA | Thrillseekers | Snow Leopard *ONLY*
Yes, unfortunately it's repeatable.
just install it and right-click on something (text, a folder, space in a folder) with FolderGlance and FinderPop active. Boom.
If it makes any difference, I had uninstalled FinderPop when I upgraded to SnowLeopard as it wasn't compatible. FolderGlance became compatible and offered the functionality I had in FP.

I'm glad you're back and working on this again, turly. This is one of the programs I depend upon for an efficient work environment.

The only significant difference between FP and FG is the latter works with Snow Leopard. That's a biggie - and I paid for a license. :|

It's going to be an interesting piece of work figuring out which program does what better - once you've figured out a way to play nice.

I'm having problems with the beta and had to remove it. There might be some conflicts with FolderGlance, which I purchased because FinderPop wasn't working. See the excerpt from the crash log:

Re: Not a version announcement
It's a wonderful product, turly, but take care of yourself, first. Prioritize.

Regards and best wishes,

New Beta?
The announcement in the appropriate group is off-topic, Turly, regardless - FP is one of my favorite utilities and I'm wondering when you'll release your next beta and what features/bug fixes it will have.

From a user who bought you a Pint.
