OSX El Capitan?
The current version of Finderpop does not run on El Capitan. Message: "Sorry, this version of FinderPop is not compatible with MacOS 10.11 - this Mac has 10.11.0."

Is an update planned?

Re: OSX El Capitan?
If there will be a version that will run on OSX El Capitan, it will not run on a default OSX installation. You will need to disable the new "System Integrity Protection" (a.k.a. "Rootless") feature, something most users will be reluctant to do. This problem affects many popular software additions, not only FinderPop.

Re: OSX El Capitan?
OK, thanks.

This is really a pity because it's such a nice tool and I'm not planning to go/try rootless with El Capitan.

Re: OSX El Capitan?
I am running OS X 11.02. I use Path Finder as an alternative to the Finder. I have discovered that while Finder Pop will not work with any Apple apps, I can use it successfully with Path Finder in the foreground. In fact, several non-Apple programs continue to allow me access to the Finder Pop popup in the menu bar, which is my primary need/use.

I realize this probably isn't groundbreaking news, but for me, it has allowed to continue using Finder Pop with El Capitan.
