Re: FinderPop 2.5.9-BETA
Report re: 10.12.2: The beta continues to work on the iMac which has had FinderPop "forever." However, it refuses to install on a new MacBook Pro. Gives an error message about inability to communicate with some helper app. Merry Christmas!

Re: FinderPop 2.5.9-BETA
Turly: An idea for you to think about. The beta is still working fine for me and I have gotten used to having to go up to the menu bar. Is it possible to "nail" the "FP" icon to a fixed spot in the menu bar? Every time that I restart, the icon ends up in a different place.

I'm thinking there must be a trick somewhere because the first few icons (all Mac OS items) at the right hand end are always in the same place. AND the Dropbox icon is always at the far left. All of the icons in between are random in their placement.

This would allow me to go to the same spot all of the time instead of "retraining" after every restart.

Re: FinderPop 2.5.9-BETA
Just to report... still working A - OK under the newest OS update of 10.11.3. My only problem since installing 2.5.9 in November was retraining my muscle memory that it had to go up to the menu bar (instead of anywhere on desktop) after all these years.

Re: FinderPop 2.3.9.2 BETA
turly wrote:Whoa, sorry about that. Obviously doesn't happen here and I've been using Safari all day (I normally use Firefox, ya just can't beat those extensions!)
You mention 2.3.9.1 - have you tried 2.3.9.2?

Do you have any crash reports you can send me? turly at finderpop dot com.

Version 2.3.9.2 took care of the Safari problem. Running for about 24 hours now with no problem. Thank you.

Re: FinderPop 2.3.9.2 BETA
No joy for you just yet.... I loaded Lion last night. This AM, I turned on FinderPop 2.3.9.1. An hour or so later, I started trying to use Safari 5.1 (7534.48.3) and it would totally crash if I did anything... literally anything. After deleting some Internet plugins and the one Safari extension that I had, I was still getting the same results. On a hunch, I turned off FinderPop and Safari started working again. Phew!
