Re: enhance other apps' contextual menus
Aha! I see.

What a pity. I guess I'll have to stump up for a mouse with more than one button then.

Thanks!

It is. I've tried it toggled both ways, quitting and restarting apps. It doesn't seem to want to work. If I hit the Control key, I get the FP enhanced menu, but not if I click and hold. It works for the menu bar, and Finder desktop.

Further info (in case it's relevant): I have Growl 1.2, MacFUSE 2.0.3, Pantone hueyPRO and Wacom Tablet 6.0.8-2 also running as "Other" pref panes.

I haven't tried a restart yet!

Re: enhance other apps' contextual menus
Sorry to jump into this thread, but it sort of fits my query.

I used to use FinderPop back in OS8 and 9. It was indispensable. Being an old stick-in-the-mud Mac user, I still have a unibutton mouse, and have put up with having to use the control key to get the extra contextual goodness.

I decided to give FP another go (OS X 10.5.8 here) and while it works spiffingly in and around the Finder, I can't get it to work in Nisus Writer Express 3.3.2, Safari 4.0.3 and Mail 3.6.

I like to look up words, empty trash, check my spelling and stuff with the contextual menu. Any clue as to why FP doesn't work outside the Finder?

Cheers!
